Cristelle Parguez and Marie Primard Mouhot have known each other since the 2019/2020 school year, when they attended a year-long study programme in the national basket-making school in the French town of Fayl-Billot. Traditional French basket-making is taught by the best professional basket-makers to those interested in requalification courses. And that isn’t everything: after successfully completing the course, graduates also know about managing a craft-based business or designing products. Many therefore launch themselves into the adventure of making practical use of their basket-making skills.
