The Polish association Serfenta from Cieszyn has been working with basket-making for 15 years already. The organisation is led by Paulina Adamska and Łucja Cieślar. The path which they have chosen for preserving, passing on and bringing back to life crafts is a unique one, linking intangible cultural heritage with sustainable business. Their unusual approach has been noticed and rewarded around the world: in Europe, Japan and South Korea. Serfenta comes up with original programmes in order to maintain basket-making alive, attractive and useful for modern people.
