3D print technology is slowly but surely becoming accessible to the masses. First experiments with the production of ceramics or porcelain by a computer-operated layering of material occurred a long time ago. It is of interest not only to producers of such printers, but to all craftsmen and designers who had experimented with their own, so to say „home-made“ printers. Today, it is easy to commission, via various internet portals, your own 3D print from such materials. It is exactly overcoming such barriers that raises a new question: What makes the digitally controlled production of ceramics and porcelain interesting? Answers could be found in the projects introduced in this article.
